The event is associated with the international TED organisation, where cities all over the world host talks by leading thinkers and passionate individuals, using their stories, ideas and experiences for intellectual and national growth.
This is the second year Accra has hosted the talks, and Cynthia Ofori-Dwumfuo, Head of Communications and External Relations for TEDxAccra, says it is growing fasy.
"The community is attracting high-level speakers and passionate individuals from all backgrounds curating experiences for intellectual and creative growth. With 25 remarkable speakers, 1500 unique attendees and a line-up of interesting and topical events, this year’s edition will foster networking under our passion for ideas that inspires us towards rethinking our priorities.”
One of the bigger TEDxAccra events, Re-Thinking Media, Art and Entertainment features investigative reporter Anas Aremeyaw Anas, will be held on Wednesday April 20.
