Reasons people in Accra move from their home
Ever wondered why people move? Several factors from the normal to the downright crazy motivate people to change their accommodation .
Recent research from Lamudi Ghana has shown that the biggest influencer of a change in accommodation is the search for independence with 24% of respondents claiming that is why they move.

Marriage was the reason for just 4% of respondents while 13% claimed their jobs were the reasons why they moved or changed locations.

The Rent Control Office should be concerned as 12% of respondents said they moved because they had issues with their rent but the real estate industry seems to be among the biggest beneficiaries with 17% buying and moving into their own properties.
