Too much protein? Yes, there is such a thing

Eating more protein than your body needs can interfere with your health and fitness goals in a number of ways, including weight gain, extra body fat, stress on your kidneys, dehydration, and leaching of important bone minerals.

For example, if you eat 100 grams of protein, but your body only uses 50 grams of it, your body will store the extra 200 calories' worth of protein as fat.

Doing this daily can cause you to take an 1,400 extra calories per week, resulting in a weight gain of almost 2 pounds per month.
