3 Vietnamese women kidnap man, demand $1,500 ransom

Three Vietnamese women has proven that what a man can do, they can equally do well by kidnapping a man and demanding for ransom. But they were nabbed before they could collect the money.

Three Vietnamese women have been charged to a Dubai Criminal court for allegedly kidnapping a man and demanding a ransom of Dhs5,000, about ($1,500), before he would be set free, the court heard on Monday, April 13.

The three women who are between the ages of 22 to 34, lured the victim into a building in International City on January 17, and held him hostage.

The Arabic Daily reports that the women who are saleswomen, solicited the help of the security guard in the complex who threatened the man with a knife, then0dragged him into one of the apartments where he was kept.

According to Rashidiya Police Station records, they received information from the victim’s friend about the incident at about 4.30pm.

Police officials asked the friend to continue conversation with the suspects so they could locate them.

Policemen rushed to the area and spotted one of the suspects walking out of the building. She was directing the victim’s friend to a location to collect the cash, when police arrested her.
