It would be recalled that in 2015, Police reportedly found 21 women's body parts in Peter Frederiksen’s freezer in Bloemfontein, neatly labelled in plastic bags with a date, the name of a woman and where she was from.

His wife, Anna Matseliso Molise who was supposed to testify against him, got shot mysteriously in her home at Maseru, Lesotho just in about a month’s time and died at the hospital.

In August this year, the court heard how Peter Frederiksen had connived with an inmate he met in prison to kill his wife.

He was arrested and held in custody while he was also wanted in Denmark for allegedly dealing in illegal firearms.

The Bloemfontein High Court presided over by Johann Daffue found him guilty of 36 out of 38 charges, but not the one regarding the mutilation of female genitals.

The judge’s decision was reportedly based on grounds that the South African law was not precise on what sanctions removing body tissue without consent should carry.

Judge Johann Daffue said in his ruling that "The accused is certainly not a man of high moral standing.

"He simultaneously married two women and was involved with people who believed in Satanism," the judge said in a ruling that took him about 4 hours to deliver.
