Boy stabs SS2 student to death during argument, escapes ...police launch manhunt

A boy has become a fugitive of the law after he stabbed his fellow student to death following an argument and fled to avoid arrest. The Police are looking but yet to apprehend him.

Police in Oyo state have launched a manhunt for a teenager accused of stabbing an SS2 student of the Moslem Grammar School, Ibadan, to death during an argument on Friday.

The victim, identified as Toib Aresa, was killed with a knife while arguing with the unnamed suspect in the school premises.

gathered that the suspected killer is also a student of the school which is located at the Odinjo area of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

Student Pulse gathered that in the course of their argument, the suspect brought out a knife from his school bag and stabbed Toib in the stomach, spilling his intestines.

A teacher of the school who spoke to Leadership on conditions of anonymity said efforts to save the deceased's life failed.

“We tried all we could to save the Toib’s life but he gave up the ghost as the intestines have already gushed out while there was nothing we could do than to invite the police,” the teacher said.

According to eyewitness reports, Toib's killer fled the scene of the killing after officers from the ‘Sanyo’ appeared.

He is still on the run and the police have launched a manhunt for him.

Police confirmed the incident but gave no details.
