Police service exam papers leaked and in circulation on social media

Recently, the Ghana police service was hit with a scandalous development where questions that senior police officers were supposed to answer in an upcoming exam became public.

This time, it is not the Ghana police. The Kenyan police on Wednesday cancelled a law exam which its officers were supposed to have sat for the next day after all the five question papers were leaked and in circulation on social media.

According to Tuko.co.ke, the officers were already seated to write the Penal Code, Evidence Act, Criminal Procedure Code, Local Acts and Station Administration and Police Work when instruction came from the headquarters that the examination be cancelled.

A statement signed by the acting commandant of the Kenyan police service said, "The January 2018 Police Law examination has been nullified with immediate effect due to malpractices noticed after dispatching the question papers to the centres. Fresh examination will be prepared and sufficient notice will be communicated in due course.

"In the meantime all the papers which are not opened to be returned to the college by 19/1/2019."

Reports say initial investigation has pointed to Kiganjo where the exams were set and printed as a possible source of the leakage.
