Louie Amundson was asked by his daughter if he had bullied anyone when he was younger, and he said yes. Moved by his shameful behaviour, he searched from Morrisette on Facebook and apologized to him.

"I was recently talking with my 10 year old daughter about bullies. She asked me if I ever bullied anyone and sadly I had to say "yes". What came to mind is how shitty and mean I was to you when we were in Junior High. I want to apologize to your face. I don't know if you remember, but I do and I am sorry" wrote Amundson to Morrisette.

Morrisette who said he did not remember the bully because there were so many back then who picked on him, was moved when he read the apology. "It unlocked something in me I didn’t realize I’d been holding onto. I cried a little bit. It was so moving" he said.

Amundson revealed that the apology made him feel humbled and relieved. "[I felt] humbled and ashamed and relieved all at once. I owed him that apology, he did not owe me his forgiveness. The fact that he was able to forgive me showed that I may have been the bigger kid but he is he bigger man."

Chad Michael Morrisette is now a successful visual designer and brand consultant in Hollywood.
