Family of 11-year-old Indian girl from Madhya Pradesh state is being avoided by neighbours following allegations that the young girl has been popping out 35 to 40 small white pebbles from her eyes every day for over two weeks
Manasi, a sixth-grader from the village of Pachkhura, allegedly started producing the bizarre white substance which looks like cotton from her eyeson August 25.

According to reports, villagers have been avoiding the girl and her family ever since they heard about strange condition, probably to avoid a possible divine wrath.
Reports are also rife that her superstitious parents have not yet to consulted an ophthalmologist to examine the situation.
Manasi’s father, Gendlal Kevat, reportedly said his daughter has been shedding between 35 and 40 “cotton tears” on daily basis for the past two weeks.
However, local doctor came to see her after hearing about it from the other villagers, and recommended that she be consulted by a professional eye doctor.

An Indian local Newspaper, Nayi Duniya reported that Dr. Navneet Saxena, Dean and ophthalmologist of Medical College in Jabalpur said that, it could be just an allergic reaction that sometimes manifests itself as white discharge and thread coming out of the eye.
Dr Pawan Setak is reported to have explained further that the condition is likely caused by a Vitamin D deficiency, adding that, malnourished children sometimes exhibit a white discharge from the corners of their eyes, which look like cotton.
