Trailer accident sends 2 to untimely graves in Abuja

Tow young men lost their lives in a ghastly accident in Abuja this morning.

An unfortunate and ghastly accident was reported this morning at the popular NNPC Junction at the Kubwa Second Gate in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, where two men were killed by a trailer whose driver apparently lost control when it brake failed.

According to an eyewitness who posted the disturbing photos on social media, the trailer which carried gravel, was on a very high speed and when it got to the junction, the driver tried to apply the brakes but it failed and he rammed into some people.

One of the dead men were identified as a vendor selling newspapers while the other was a taxi driver who was calling passengers into his vehicle.

Apart from the men who died on the spot, many others were injured and were rushed to a hospital.
