Kojo Joseph, a gentleman in the Assin North district of the Central Region is being sought after by the police after he allegedly beat his wife to death.

According to the Assin Fosu Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Eric Batchor, the accused, aged 27, is alleged to have assaulted the deceased brutally. This left her in severe pains, resulting in her death at the Francis Xavier Hospital at Assin Fosu.

He narrated to Accra-based Starr FM, that the deceased Faustina Appiah, alias Ama Atta, aged 24, is said to have demanded money from the suspect who had consistently denied having any to offer.
Faustina Appiah allegedly continued requesting for money because she had seen money in the mobile money wallet of the suspect.

The deceased who was not happy with her husband’s action and confronted him over his refusal to give her money for the upkeep of the house but she was subjected to severe beating leading to her admission at the hospital and her demise later on.
