Ghanaian radio presenter killed by robbers

Few months after Silverbird Group lost one of its staff in a murder case, its radio arm in Port Harcourt has lost an OAP from robbers bullets.

 

A few months after a staff of Silverbird Television Nigeria, Aisha Noble-Mustapha was brutally murdered by a presumed friend, the giant media house has been thrown into mourning yet again as one of its top On Air Personalities, in the radio arm, Rhythm FM, Iphie Aggrey-Fynn, has been reportedly shot dead by armed robbers in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The likeable Ghana-Nigeria-born lady who was in her 20s, according to reports, was felled by the deadly gang along Aba-Port Harcourt Expressway yesterday, June 2, on her way back to her base in Port Harcourt from seeing her parents in Aba, Abia State.

It was gathered that the bus Iphie, who was also a writer, blogger, motivational speaker and MC, was travelling in, was attacked by the robbers but as the driver tried to manouver and escape from them, they opened fire and unfortunately, the young lady who was preparing for her marriage, was shot dead in the process.

Iphie was one of the shining lights of the Port Harcourt arm of Rhythm FM and was seen by her colleagues as one who had the sky for her beginning.
