A taxi driver has been arraigned before the Kumasi Circuit Court for allegedly robbing one Jemima Prempeh of her phone.

The police are searching for his accomplice, Kwadwo Ofori.
The case of the prosecution was that the police had a distress call about an armed robbery case on the Apromase-Kokoben trunk road.
When the police got to the scene, the robbers absconded.
A search was then mounted in adjoining committees where the suspect was arrested at Deduako.
According to the prosecutor Inspector Christine Betty, the suspected was search and the victim’s LG phone valued at GHS500 was found on him.
