In Florida Man vows to 'fight' to keep alligator pet

A retired fire fighter David Van Buren has vowed he would do anything to keep his 13ft male alligator, named Gwendolyn

The 47-year creature, whose eats pizza and cookies, has been with Mr. Buren since he was a boy.

Mr Buren who lives in Coconut Grove in Florida in the United States indicated to Sky News that he would whatever it takes to keep Gwendolyn after Officials hinted it was too big to roam in his garden.

 According to Sky News Mr Van Buren went to court and get his pet back when it was taken from him in 1994.

He insist that Gwendolyn is not a dangerous animal as people perceive him.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife officials have urged Mr. Buren to create a bigger space for his alligator pet since he is found of him.
