A 42-year-old man who could not cater for his eight children has killed one of them.
The incident which occurred at Kpeyidorme, in the Volta Region, saw the suspect, identified only as Ametoyome, murdering his seven year old son with a cutlass because he could no longer of him.
According to Starr FM, he was picked up by the police following a tip off by a neighbor.

The suspect asks his son to accompany to a place, whiles on their way the father pulled out a cutlass and slashed out his (son) throat, police report.
After the act, a man who was also using the same route met him and saw his bloody cutlass and confronted him. After further interrogations they saw the boy’s lifeless body lying by and a report was filed to the police for his arrest
