Two men have been arrested after a woman claimed she was dragged into a bush and raped near a Tesco store.
The victim, believed to be in her 20s, was allegedly attacked as she walked along the Mill Lane underpass near Maldon in Essex on the day of the incident
She is still being treated to regain her composure after the traumatic incident, officials have stated.
Detectives were today questioning two men, a 23 year old man from London and a 26-year-old man from Maldon on suspicion of rape.
They are being held in custody while police investigate the allegations.
Officers are appealing to any witnesses to speak to them, especially people who were around the area between 5.30pm and 7pm who may have seen anything.
