Notorious robber grabbed by Tema police
A notorious robber in Tema known as ‘one man robber’ has been arrested by residents of Tema Community 8.

The suspect also known as ‘one man robber’ has been terrorizing residents of Communities 8,9,10,11 and 12 and subjecting some female victims to sexual assaults.
Tema Regional Police PRO, ASP Juliana Obeng told Adom News that the suspect who often wielded gun, wheel spanner and other offensive weapons has been on Police wanted list for years.
“Luck eluded him on 10 April this year after robbing Kingsley Ankukumah of four mobile phones, one landline telephone, and a cash amount of GHC1,800.00”, she said.

Tema Police Command commended the residents that helped in arresting this robber.
“Policing is a shared responsibility. Civilians can effect arrest and hand over suspects to the Police like Community 8 residents did,” ASP Obeng urged.
Some of the victims have been able to identify their phones, bags, jewelries and other belongings after a search was conducted in the suspect’s room.
“During the identification parade, some of the victims were able to identify him as the one behind attacks in their vicinity. They were also able to identify their belongings”, she added.
