Ghanaians have a bad maintenance culture. At least, that is what I have observed from the many infrastructure that has not lived up to its supposed years.

Talk about the stadia, schools and other public buildings… When you take a tour around these places, one will realise how bad we are at keeping our infrastructure tidy. And that resonates even at our places of entertainment. I am writing this based on what I saw at the just ended  musical concert.

Some audience at this year’s edition of the musical concert went to the extent of standing on the seats in the auditorium of the Accra International Conference Centre to get a clearer view of artistes’ performances.

While some only stood on the seats, others stood on them and danced their hearts out on several occasions. There were instances where some people sat on the top of the chair with their legs on the seats or the arms.

Aside these events, a group of males who were sighted fighting among themselves used some of the movable chairs as weapons as they threw them at each other.
