Ashaiman will for the first time host a TEDx conference, as Ghana’s fastest growing community of thinkers and change makers prepare to come together for TEDxAfariwaa.

Organized under the theme, "Unleashing Ideas; a prerequisite for change", TEDxAfariwaa will bring together individuals from diverse fields of endeavour to inspire change and innovative thinking within the  Ashaiman - Tema community.

Charles Mensah, the curator for TEDxAfariwaa, said he believes the event will create the needed platform to debate solutions to the various problems facing the community and the country at large.

“In a fast changing world, thousands of youth continue to create change in their communities through positive thinking and idea exchange. We are bringing the spirit of TED talks to our community to help create an atmosphere for innovative thinking and drive the need for change in our community.”
