Ghana Music Week officially launched

Speaking at the launch of Ghana music Week, Obour president of Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) stated that the celebration will ensure that 2 of March TV and radio stations across the country will play 100% Ghanaian music and even contents without music will fuse Ghanaian music into it on the day.

He also added that on the 3 of March a seminar will be held to educate musicians on how to invest monies they make from their work.

This year’s celebration will be climaxed with International music expo and awards night on the 4 of March. This event will encompass International Music Day and Music Honours which are set to honour and celebrate long serving Ghanaian musicians.

He finally stated that most of this year’s events are free and this is to encourage the masses participate in the celebration of Ghanaian music

The launch was grace by key players in the entertainment industry and personals from various media houses in the Ghana.
