Ghanaian artistes tend to use YouTube which is another way of utilizing social media in order to generate extra revenue by using their social influence as a tool.

The issue of Ghanaian musicians not being able to earn enough money from their craft has been an albatross around the neck of the music industry.

The issue of piracy and non-payment of copyright royalties has prevented artistes from gaining revenue.
