Ghanaian television host and comedian, Afia Schwarzenegger has called for the sale of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC).
The nation is currently debating whether the issue of selling government institutions to the private sector will in some way increase efficiency in their service.

Many citizens have given their opinion about the current debate by suggesting the sale of other corporations in hopes that these institutions become efficient.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Afia shared her two cents on the matter by suggesting the sale of the broadcasting corporation.
Afia Schwarzenegger was of the opinion that Ghana Television (GTV) cannot be categorized as a television channel, thus it would be sensible if it is sold.

The TV host and comedienne has had a successful media career, spanning over five years.
She has worked with Kasapa FM, Okay FM and hosted the “Kokooko” program on UTV channel, a subsidiary of the Despite Group of Companies.
