The singer made the announcement on her Instagram page on Monday posting a black and white photo of her and Kinney’s hands holding showing off her heart-shaped diamond engagement ring and apparently the proposal was done on Valentine’s Day.
"He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES!" Gaga wrote in the post.
The singer and her fiancé are said to have first met on the 2011 set of Gaga's "" music video and started dating months later.

They then made a brief split in May 2012 but got back together after a month and they have been dating since.
