My house help stole my wife’s panties - Ayittey Powers

"I went back to the room to open our drawer and realized our money which is about GH¢3, 000 had gone missing together with my underwear and some personal items", Ayittey Powers revealed in an interview with 3news.

Ghanaian boxer, Ayittey Powers says his house help has robbed him of GH¢3, 000 and his wife’s panties from their house in Dansoman, Accra.

The famous boxer in an interview with 3news revealed that “About a month ago which is February 11, I was on my way to the shop when I asked Happy to come with me but she declined to say she had to wash some clothing.

“I even told her the things are not many so we should go to the shop together but she insisted I take my son along with me whilst she washes the things at home”.

According to Mrs. Powers, she went to the shop but waited the whole day for Happy to join her but she never showed up thus prompting her to call her husband to inform him.

I called my husband to let him know that Happy hadn’t come to the shop and he told me to relax about it because she was probably still busy at home with house chores. “We got home late that evening and the door was locked so I went back to the car to get the spare key so we could get into the house.

We went to her bedroom and realized she had packed all her dresses so I went out and asked our neighbors if they had seen her around [and they] said they saw her with a luggage but assumed she was going to the shop.

I went back to the room to open our drawer and realized our money which is about GH¢3, 000 had gone missing together with my underwear and some personal items.”

I was told she has been going out with a man who comes to pick her up when we are not around, leaving my little boy locked up in the house alone”.

The boxer added that they have reported the case to the Dansoman Police but still haven’t had any luck with finding the girl.

He said they are ready to reward anyone with any information on the girl’s whereabouts and said they were more concerned about the young lady’s safety and are pleading with her to come back home.
