Why Sarkodie’s clothing line is inactive

The popular celebrity clothing line was launched on Saturday April 27, 2013 at Aphrodisiac Night Club in Accra.

 

The show which was hosted by Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD) was attended by Sarkodie's fans and celebrity friends including D-Black, Deborah Vanessah, Sandra Ankobiah, Efya, Prince David Osei, Ekow Smith Asante, D-Cryme, Bullet of Ruff N Smooth, Confidence Haugen, Wanluv the Kuborlor and M3nsa of FOKN Boi fame, Dee Moneey among others.

But for some time now, the clothing line has been off the fashion scene which many suggest it has collapsed citing mismanagement as the cause.

Reacting to these comments, Sarkodie has said his clothing line is currently undergoing rebranding process.

“Well there’s a rebranding. I have already tweeted that,” Sarkodie stated over the weekend after his performance ‪at ‎Party In The Park show in the ‎United Kingdom.

The 31-year-old rapper said Sark Collection finds it difficult to deliver products to its customers so that is why he starting the rebranding.

“We fell short at the means that people get hold of it (delivery). We were just based in the shop. We wanted that exclusivity which I think we were depriving the fans of having it,” he revealed.

“So we are restructuring everything and we are hiring new designers,” he said adding that “It’s going to be epic!”
