Pulse Ghana shares with you some celebrities who have received cars from Prophet Badu Kobi.

According to Prophet Kobi, the motive behind his gifting of cars is to help these musicians to spread the gospel with ease.

He has added that they are mostly gifts from people he has blessed.

“God has given us wealth to be a blessing to others. All things belong to Jesus. I honor gospel musicians because some of them can’t afford to buy cars which can help their singing ministry. Moving from churches to churches to minster becomes a problem for them. I give out the cars based on the person’s achievements,” he said on Onua FM.

Prophet Kobi who has also blessed some members of his congregation with cars has however indicated that people will be disappointed if his benevolence is what will be the reason for anyone to join his church because he acts upon the direction of God.

“Any celebrity who particularly joins my church with the aim of getting a car might be hugely disappointed. If I am not touched by God to do so, the person would have to wait forever. There are a number of celebrities in my church whom I am yet to bless with a car or some other gift. And because God has not given me the go ahead, I cannot just give them anything. I don’t sell cars in my church neither do I just give cars for fame, I am guided by what God tells me to do,” he told Showbiz.

Highlife artiste, Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba was presented with Mercedes-Benz E220 CDI convertible.

Yaw Sarpong

Gospel musician, Yaw Sarpong was elated to have received a car from Prophet Badu Kobi as he least expected he would get it months after the prophet promised him.

"Though he promised to give me a car months back, it came as a surprise because I never knew it will come this soon. I really thank Him for changing my life" he told ghanapoliticsonline.com

Nicholas Omane Acheampong

Nicholas Omane Acheampong has had three cars from Prophet Badu Kobi. He had been given two Saloon cars before a new Nissan Pathfinder 7-seater in 2016.

“It is true he gave me a top range car. This is not the first time he has given me a car; he had previously given me two Saloon cars, a Honda sports car and then a KIA Cerato. But this time, he gave me a top range 4×4—a new Nissan Pathfinder 7-seater. And I am very grateful to him. Sometimes I have a funny fear he may come back for the car. He has done a lot of things for people but this one is beyond my imagination. Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi has shocked me,” he told Graphic Showbiz.

On Sunday, November 1, 2015, gospel musician Obaapa Christy, was surprised with a 2014 brand of Hyundai Sonata salon car as a gift. Present at the presentation were Great Ampong and Daddy Lumba.

The latest to benefit is gospel musician, Michael Oware Sakyi, popularly known as OJ. OJ was presented with VW Jetta.
