The National Hiplife Director of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Edward Nana Poku Osei also known as Hammer has described Bice Osei Kuffour “Obour” as ‘a great leader, not a fighter’.

He made this statement following Shatta Wale’s recent rant on Twitter. Shatta Wale, during his rant, alleged that Obour is not serving the purpose of the musicians’ union thus he should resign.

Shatta Wale started his rant by asking Obour to resign and also discussed the frustrations of musicians about how Obour had misused funds of the union.

Reacting to the rant, Hammer of The Last 2 said the MUSIGA President is ‘a great leader, not a fighter’ adding that Ghanaian musicians need ‘a fighter’ to lead them.

Hammer and Shatta Wale are not the only musicians who have issues with Obuor-led administration. Rapper D-Black is another musician who has expressed his disappointment in the president.

D-Black announced on Twitter Monday, November 21 that he will soon 'run for MUSIGA presidency with business minds'. He added “Very soon it will be a new breed! New industry rules, new opportunities, royalties paid & artists eat like they deserve to.”
