A concerned group of people looked for Majek Fashek after they heard about the state of his health and how he roams around Lagos begging for money.

Meanwhile the GoFundMe fund raising campaign initiated by a former backup singer of Majek Fashek, Ms. Monica Omorodion Swaida has so far raised $2,793.
