Star to give talk on the "objectification of women"

The reality star will take to the stage at the Commonwealth Club of California to talk about feminist theories in modern society

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian  will take part in a public interview at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, as part of the Commonwealth Club of California on June 30.

Kim Kardashian will talk about “her new book Selfish, the Kardashian Jenner clan, the business of millennial culture and the objectification of women in media”.

A description of the event on the Club’s website described Kim as “half of the #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple, Kimye  and she recently “broke the internet” with her bum on the cover of Paper magazine".

The Commonwealth Club's ticket sales page stated "Her biological father famously represented OJ Simpson, and her Olympic athlete stepparent Caitlyn Jenner made headlines recently when she came out as transgender''.

Tickets for the event start at $40 and go upwards to $300 for fans wishing to splash out on a VIP Party Package, which includes a signed copy of her Selfish book and a cocktail reception.
