Singer Denies Romantic Ties To Samini

Kakie says she has never been romantically involved with her mentor and label boss, Samini

Dancehall artist, Kaakie has responded to rumours that she is romantically involved with Samini saying she has never dated or had anything to do with him.

“I want everyone to know that Samini is a brother I admire so much. He has been influential in my music career and a close friend. Nothing has ever happened between Samini and me. I want Ghanaians to know that,” she said.

Talking to Graphic Showbiz, the singer also stated that she was not ready to date as she sees being in a relationship as a distraction to her music career.

“I have dated before and it didn’t help me. It brought nothing to me but destruction. My musical career was going downhill when I was dating and I don’t think I would want to date anytime soon” she said.

According to her being single for the past three years has really helped her music career because she has been able to bring out hit songs and also perform on major platforms.

On the subject of her education, the 'Too much' singer also debunked the rumors that she could not graduate with her mates from the 2013/2014 academic group due to bad results in some modules.

She said that she graduated last July 27 and did not have to rewrite exams as reported.She said, she laughs anytime she comes across such stories because such false stories rather make her strong.

About her plan for the year 2015, Kaakie said she has a lot of songs and videos recorded which are ready to be released adding that this year is her year.

She also promised her fans more entertaining music.
