The former manager of Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale in a song titled L.G.B.T said that the acts contradicts God’s words.

“I know say Obama pass the Right for them, but Jah know say L.G.B.T can’t stand creation. Them filthy, demons and evil .God is Greater than Obama. It was Adam and Eve; not Eve and Eve nor Adam and Adam. You guys want human-right to f*ck batty… we gonna give you animal right to kill all you f*cking nastiest. I’m gonna kill you all mother-f*ckers! So destroy them... Pass me the Bible to purify them! Pass me the Quran to crucify them,” the intro of the song says. 

“Make we shut them, cut off them neck, kill them with stone, broke off them bone…” another line said.

Some countries including United States of America (USA), France, Argentina and Belgium have legalised same sex marriage. There is pressure from these western countries, particularly (USA), on Africa to sanction gay marriage.

US President, Barack Obama is on record to have said he will continue to pressure African leaders on the need to recognize gay rights and end discrimination. Some African leaders including Nigeria’s Muhammadu Buhari and Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe have openly said that they will not sanction gay marriages because it is against the law of the country and abhorrent to their culture.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Centre for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana) has asked policy makers to formulate policies to end human rights abuses against gays, commercial sex workers and other vulnerable groups in society.
