My husband told me his marriage with Kyeiwaa was a movie – Rival

Florence Kyei, a business woman in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi says she has two children with Akwasi Bronya.

Florence Kyei, the woman who claims to be the real wife of actress Kyeiwaa’s just-married-to husband has indicated that the man at the centre of the controversy, Daniel Akwasi Bronya told her the marriage between him and Kyeiwaa was a movie scene.

“When he came home, he apologized to me saying that, it was a movie they shot and least expected that it will turn out this way. That is what he told me. I believed him because when one gets married, that same day, the couple will spend some time together but in the case of my husband, he came home and we both slept together till the next day,” she told Kasapa FM.

Meanwhile, father of Kyeiwaa, Nana Appiah Kubi has dismissed the claims of shooting a movie scene stating that he led the family to give Kyeiwaa’s hand to marriage.

“Yes! It is true Kyeiwaa is my daughter. On Sunday I went with my family as the head with my nephews, my brothers and sisters and the entire family to attend my daughter’s engagement ceremony. My daughter introduced Daniel to me that he has asked for her hand in marriage so my family and the man’s family met for the traditional marriage ceremony. It is a real marriage. It is not a movie,” he said on Neat FM.

Nana Appiah Kubi, speaking about allegations that Akwasi Bronya is married to another woman, said he cannot conclude on that until he speaks to both his daughter and his son-in-law.

“I still don’t know whether he is another woman’s husband or not. I have called Daniel several times but he is not answering my calls and I have also called my daughter but her phone has been off. So until I speak to both of them I can’t say my daughter married someone’s husband,” he said.
