'I disagree with Blakk Rasta that 80% of MPs take marijuana' - Ken Kuranchie

The Editor of the Daily Searchlight newspaper Ken Kuranchie has appeared before the Privileges Committee of Parliament over the musician’s claim that 80% of Members of Parliament smoke marijuana.

At the committee, Ken Kuranchie said he has friends in Parliament and he knows that none of them even uses cigarette. He added that he does not agree with Blakk Rasta on his call for the legalisation of Marijuana.

He told Parliament that "I disagree that Blakk Rasta said 80% of the MPs take marijuana, so it should be legalized."

He also indicated that he has not met Blakk Rasta before.

"I have not spoken to Blakk Rasta before, we just met on the corridors of power," he added.

During the cross examination, Ken said he picked the story directly from Adomfmonline but did not make any checks before publishing the story because of the credibility of the adomonline.
