Taylor Swift is Forbes youngest most powerful woman

The Pop Singer rose to global fame with the release of her 1986 album

25-year-old, Taylor Swift, has been named as the youngest woman ever on Forbes list of The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women. The Vevo video record holder, ranked 64 alongside the likes of Angela Merkel and Hillary Clinton.

Forbes estimated that Taylor earned a whopping £41 million last year and has gained dedicated fans around the world calling her “Swifties”. Forbes, added the singer has proved herself as an impressive business minded woman.

Taylor Alison Swift, released her eagerly highly anticipated 1989 album last October and has won numerous accolades worldwide.

The world's most powerful woman remains German Chancellor Angela Merkel followed in second place by Hilary Clinton. First Lady Michelle Obama is in tenth place on the list and Queen Elizabeth II is at 41.
