The death of Josephine Bruce, 57, is reported to have happened on Wednesday, August 19 at the Cocoa Clinic at North Kaneshie in Accra.

The late Josephine Bruce left eight children behind including Bisa Kdei.
Bisa Kdei confirmed the news on his official Twitter page, "Mother was always there for us Chale".
Singer Becca, who has been in the news lately when her dating rumours with Bisa Kdei sparked also tweeted at the grieving highlife musician by quoting a section of the popular hymnal, "It is well with my soul". She wrote, " When sorrows like seas billows roll, whatever my Lord hath thought me to say it is well with my soul sorry about mum,shattered".
