Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo is a year older today, February 3, 2017.

Most Ghanaian personalities including former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, have sent birthday wishes to Dumelo on social media.

Mr. Dramani Mahama shared a photo of John Dumelo in a blue print with the caption “Happy birthday to u @johndumelo1”.

The 33-year-old was actively involved in the 2016 General Elections campaigning for the National Democratic Congress under the flagbearership of John Mahama.

The party lost the December elections but the relationship between the award-winning actor and the former President remains unbroken.

“It's elections, somebody wins, somebody loses, and we just have to bury the hatchet and move on. Ghana is for us, let’s all see how best we can develop the country…I’m sad that we (NDC) lost, but I’ve been okay,” he said.
