"She abused drugs and was suicidal" - ex boyfriend reveals

In an exclusive chat with DailyMail, Bobbi's ex, Zack Jafarzedeh says she's been abusing Xanax since 16 and may have fallen asleep in the bathtub just like her mother in 2012!

Bobbi Kristina's former boyfriend, Zack Jafarzedeh has revealed she was high on prescription medication - Xanax - when she was found unresponsive in her bathtub on January 31 in Atlanta.

Zack, 24, disclosed the new information to UK's Daily Mail February 17 adding that Bobbi was also reeling from a huge fight she had with alleged husband, Nick Gordon few days earlier.

It was also discovered during Zach's chat that Bobbi, 21, had been abusing the Xanax drugs since she was only 16 and she was also suicidal.

He however mentioned that he believes she may have fallen asleep in the tub but did not rule out the possibility she was trying to commit suicide, because of the alarming similarities to the death of her mother, Whitney Houston, in 2012.

Even though Zach admitted that Bobbi's hubby, Nick, was arrogant and fierce, he doesn't think he harmed her. He said:

"I know they got into a fight a few days before and she was really depressed about that and probably took a few Xanax and bathed and fell asleep. She would take more than she was prescribed of the Xanax."

He added,

"If you take two or three of them, you will black out and not remember anything. No matter who you are, it's going to knock you out, and mixed with alcohol it's a deadly combo. Some of it makes me feel like it could be a possible suicide, not even just a mistake. Something symbolic like: This is the way my mom died, this is the way I want to kill myself too... It's eerie how similar that is. It sent chills down my spine and it made me sick to my stomach when I heard about it."

Xanax is a common anxiety medication which helps calm people and prevent panic attacks. It was one of the substances found in Whitney's body when she was found dead in a bathroom at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles on February 11 2012, shortly before that year's Grammy Awards.
