Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Okoro says true Africans believe everything black is substandard. The 32-year-old revealed that telenovelas are just a repetition of what has already been told by players in the Ghana movie industry.

She posted a photo of some people holding placards campaigning against those who patronize telenovelas.

“Am so happy that people are talking about it FINALLY..What stories are these Mexican, Indian telenovelas telling that we haven't told already and retold over and over AGAIN...Is it a poor girl meets a rich man story. The curveaous star says she is still single because most guys find it difficult to walk up to her.

“The issue is men don’t have balls to come forward to ask me out because they think I am already hooked or perhaps I am very high maintenance. Also, I may still be single because most people think celebrities are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing partners but that is a very wrong perception.
