Veteran actor ready for comeback with Marvel comic-book inspired film

The 'Godfather' star says he may soon star in a comic book-inspired film from the studio behind the 'Thor' and 'Iron Man' movies.

Al Pacino, 67,  is making a come back into the movie world and he will be appearing in upcoming Marvel film.

The 'Godfather' star told Happy Sad Confused podcast that he may soon star in a comic book-inspired film from the studio behind the 'Thor' and 'Iron Man' movies. This was the out come of his meeting with Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios.

'I've met with the Marvel guy. It's a Marvel how things happen... I would imagine that either there's something he feels is right for me and if I feel...” the actor began speaking before receiving a call from Marvel to not reveal further.

The Marvel Studios only confirmed 38-year-old British actor Benedict Cumberbatch's lead role in the upcoming film, 'Doctor Starnge' last week since casting him in months ago.

Kevin Feige, 41, said: 'Stephen Strange's story requires an actor capable of great depth and sincerity. In 2016, Benedict will show audiences what makes Doctor Strange such a unique and compelling character.'

The film is being directed by Scott Derrickson, who helmed The Exorcism of Emily Rose, and is scheduled for an October 2016 release.
