Ghanaian actor, Abraham Attah has won the Black Film Critics Circle’s Rising Star award in the US for his role in Beasts of No Nation.
This makes it two for the young actor as he won Best Young Actor at Venice Film Festival in September 2015 for his role in the same movie.
The Cary Joji Fuknaga directed movie was shot in Ghana stars Hollywood actor Idris Elba, Ghana’s Ama K. Abebrese, Grace Nortey and David Dontoh.
The movie was also named among Black Film Critics Circle top 10 films of 2015.
