Reports reaching us from Kumasi indicate that two students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology have been shot by armed robbers who robbed at least two rooms at the F Plaza Hostel around midnight on Tuesday.

The armed robbers are believed to have made away with gadgets and money from about two rooms but got into a struggle with two students during which they shot them and escaped.

The reported number of rooms robbed are two. An earlier version of this report said it was four. Eye witness images from the scene.
