The Nima Police Command has arrested about 17 suspects over their alleged involvement in the attack of teachers of the St. John’s 1 and 2 Primary School a few weeks ago.

The school was shut down after a primary pupil was said to have called in thugs following a disciplinary action on her by one of her teachers.

The thugs reportedly came to the school and began attacking teachers and pupils with broken bottles, canes and other weapons.

Several of the teachers and pupils were injured in the process and later sought medical attention at a near-by hospital.
