Persons involved not our students - KNUST

The Deputy Registrar of the University Relations Office, Vincent Ankamah Lomotey has told Pulse.com.gh that the persons involved are not students of the school.

A female student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, (KNUST) was subjected to public ridicule after some students allegedly screened her sex video.

The two-minute video only showed the lady's face, but not her male sex partner.

But, in an interview with Pulse.com.gh, the Deputy Registrar of the University Relations Office, Vincent Ankamah Lomotey said "So far, what we have established is that they have some names which suggested as the name of the lady. We went into our database; there were two names like that but it did not match the pictures that was in the video. In fact, those two have completed school, one was 30, the other is 32."

He added that the hall executives, having looked at the video realised that the environment in which the video was taken did not conform to halls in the school.

"The kind of beds that were being used and the rest, they all did not conform to what we have in the halls of residence," the Deputy Registrar added.
