President John Mahama has performed a ceremony to officially inaugurate the Community Day Senior High Schools at Frafraha and Dome Kwabenya with a pledge to put more resources into the development of education.
According to him, the massive infrastructure growth of the sector, seen under his watch, by way of the construction and refurbishment of classroom structures, teachers’ accommodation and supply of furniture would continue.

The establishment of the Community Day Senior High Schools he said will expand and improve access to secondary education as well as develop the quality and affordability of education in Ghana.

President Mahama who is campaigning in the Greater Accra region took the opportunity to commission the the Frafraha and the Kwabenya schools. He emphasised that education was key in the development of a country’s human resource.
He also commended the West African Examination Council (WAEC), for successfully organizing the 2016 Basic Education Certificate Examination.
