Former Malawi president set to deliver lecture

This year’s lecture, which will be the fourth in his commemoration, is under the theme: ‘Atta Mills: the Servant Leader’.

Former Malawi President Joyce Hilda Banda will on Monday, July 25, deliver this year’s lecture in honour of late President John Evans Atta Mills.

Professor Atta Mills died on July 24, 2012, while President of Ghana.

The lecture will take place at the main auditorium of the University of Cape Coast.

President John Mahama is expected to commission a library built in the late president’s honour, that is, the John Evans Atta Mills Presidential Library on that day.

The library has been built near the Chapel Square in Cape Coast, where the first anniversary of the death of the late president was marked.
