National service postings released

All prospective national service personnel are advised by the Dr. Kpessa-Whyte to visit the Scheme’s website by logging onto www.nss.gov.gh to check their placements.

The National Service Secretariat has released postings for the 2016/2017 service year. In this year a total of of seventy thousand, four hundred and seven (70,407) personnel are expected to do their service.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Acting Executive Director, Dr. Michael Kpessa-Whyte. He said “the service personnel who have been deployed to both private and public sectors of the economy are Ghanaian graduates from 137 tertiary institutions across the country and those who have completed their studies abroad”.

The statement also justified the early release of the postings saying it is “to afford prospective service personnel sufficient time to prepare before they take up their postings in September, 2016”. The early posting is also to give user agencies ample time to organize in-service orientation and training programmes for service personnel posted to their institutions.

All prospective national service personnel are advised by the Dr. Kpessa-Whyte to visit the Scheme’s website by logging onto www.nss.gov.gh to check their placements. Registration is expected to start on 11th July, 2016 and end on Friday, 26th August, 2016 at all national service regional offices across the country.
