New transport fares in full effect

Commercial drivers have begun charging new transport fares announced on Monday April 3.

A 15% increase in intra-city (trotro), inter-city (long distance) and taxi fares was announced by Road Transport Operators following negotiations with the Ministry of Transport, a move the group said had been occasioned by rising cost of fuel.
