Government to employ agric graduates as Extension Officers – Osarfo Marfo
Senior Minister Yaw Osarfo Marfo said the NPP government is doing all within its power to fulfil its campaign promise of reducing unemployment in the country.
He was speaking at a breakfast meeting in Accra. The theme for the dialogue was ‘A public – private dialogue on stability, growth and jobs’.

He said the NPP government is doing all within its power to fulfil its campaign promise of reducing unemployment in the country.
“As part of enhancing agriculture production in the country, we have decided in consultation with the universities, all those who have done degrees in Agriculture and are unemployed. We will be calling all of them for a short term training in extension services so that with their degree background, they will be in a position to give extension services across the country”.
He also promised that the government will create an enabling environment to enable the private businesses thrive and employ more.
