The Volta River Authority (VRA) has said stable power supply has been restored, rejecting suggestions for a load shedding timetable.

Head of communications at the VRA, Gertrude Koomson, noted that most of the inactive turbines are back on steam.

Mrs Koomson's assertion was backed by the Deputy Power Minister, John Jinapor.

He noted that government has stabilised the power situation for the past one week after tumultuous two weeks.
