No proposals sent to parliament — finance committee member

In other news,  Member of Parliament for the Finance Committee, Dr. Mark Assibey Yeboah has revealed that Claims by Finance Minister Seth Terkper that proposals have been sent to parliament to reverse the 1% withholding tax on investment is untrue. The Ministry of Finance in press statement on Monday said it has submitted proposals to Parliament to reverse the 1% withholding tax on local investors.
